And it just started out as revenge!

These days, I would expect a robot to win.

Give us his phone number so we can congratulate him (at dinner time).

Awards don’t mean much when you’re about to be replaced by AI and robo-dialers.

I feel sorry for most people who lose their jobs to automation….

But somehow…. not this time.

Just then, as the telemarketing awards dinner gets into full swing, everybody’s phone rings.

Have you ever gotten the feeling, that some of your Tech Call in Help Centers, the Telemarketers and Scam Callers, are in cubicles in the same buildings, off shore?

Here in Ontario when I answer the phone there is a brief delay and usually a click. By then I’ve already hung up and moved on.

There’s a Most Annoying Jerk award?

He doesn’t deserve the award. He’s just been phoning it in.
