Sounds like a stilted conversation…

Well…I just had to Google it, didn’t I? Meh.

I know this is poking fun at men more than women…but he is aware that we don’t think it’s the shoes themselves that impress men, right? I mean, he certainly might be, because he’s definitely pointing out how oblivious men can be about women. Men frequently don’t realize that our legs and butts look better when we wear heels, just like they think we aren’t wearing makeup when we’re “just” wearing foundation, concealer, highlighter, mascara, blush, lipstick, eyeshadow, etc.

But we don’t wear them just to “attract a mate,” anyway. Sure, we sometimes wear them because we like how they look, or how they make us look, but also because they’re expected. Flats are often considered less professional, for example. People don’t always notice that it’s the shoes that make them feel like we’re less professional, but it’s often true.

Not that 6" heels are generally for professionalism, of course, but 2"-3" aren’t uncommon.

I learned a long time ago that what men say and what they actually do are often very different.

Men who buy fancy cars to impress women deserve women who are impressed by fancy cars.

Huh. I never associated stilts with Uncle Sam. Obviously, I don’t attend Independence Day parades.

Sexy Uncle Sam, eh? I guess that put’s the “government” in G-string.

Well…I Googled that “Uncle Sam” site yesterday, and this morning my screen is FLOODED with ads for bras and various other women’s undergarments. Coincidence?
