    So, is this a eulogy for an actual Bill Linden, or just a joke? There are quite a number of real Bill Linden’s but I didn’t find one that might be the one in today’s strip.

    Gary, You are very good at “tickling my fancy”. One of my favorites from your strip is the professor sitting at the counter and ordering French Toast. The drunk at the end of the counter immediately replies “Viva la France”. Simple, but great. I think of it every time I make or order “French Toast”. This is another one I will think of often.

    I think of a Ray Steven’s song which is humorous, but also a reminder of days past. I recall listening to relatives and others tell of experiences. While I don’t accept superstition I am aware of pranksters and unexpected unusual events.
