I worked in an office where one of the ladies and her husband belonged to a local fox-hunting group. One day I said the local greyhound track had been closed due to dangerously low wind chills and she said it should be, the poor dogs shouldn’t be subject to such conditions. When I pointed out that didn’t seem consistent with her accepting the end result of a fox hunt, the dogs kill the fox, she became defensive.
