    When you consider all of the processing and handling that goes from getting eggs from the chicken to your grocery store shelf, it is really amazing any of them make it there in one piece

    Equally amazing is the way some customers seem shocked and even a bit offended sometimes when they find a broken egg in a carton on the shelf

    I’ve watched people go through several dozen cartons of eggs looking for the “best” dozen, sometimes even moving eggs from one carton to another to get the best ones

    I have to wonder how many eggs they break along the way
