more bad news will be that she’ll disagree with his choice of what sample and go with a choice he doesn’t like

    Wallpaper or paint?

Paint. - You know how long it takes to remove old wallpaper? And I’m not talking about desktop backgrounds; paint wouldn’t be helpful there, either.

No matter which wallpaper you use, it will get old fast.

There is no good news – it’s wallpaper.

Paint. It’s almost impossible to spray on wallpaper.

My house was previously owned by some weird people. They wallpapered some rooms and painted over the wallpaper in some other rooms. I will admit that I put up some wallpaper when I first moved in, but it has all been taken down and I will never wallpaper again! Putting it up is fairly easy for me, but taking it back down is not. And taking down wallpaper which has been painted over is even more difficult. So, if anyone out there is thinking of wallpapering, Don’t Do It.

I don’t like painted walls – they make me feel as if I’m standing in a model home, all blah and inoffensive. Wallpaper takes time and thought to find something that matches your family and your lifestyle. Wallpaper says “You”, not the Little Dutch Boy.

Pete’s best option is to say, “I’ll leave in your capable hands”.

Both wallpaper and paint, neither my choice. But I love the wallpaper in the the bathrooms, but I wish they hadn’t painted the kitchen cabinets.
