thejudge - I think he starts tossing up airballs and then will offer to toss something else to ward off a beatdown in the locker room at the hands of Lew Alcindor.
Being able to shoot alone is one thing, knowing how to get open for a shot is another, especially for someone who’s never played an organized game before. He’s not going to be able to just stand in the corner and bomb away without being guarded. Well, maybe in the Gil Universe he can. We’ll see.
decten – good catch on Lamonica’s first name! I’m an old AFL fan, should have gotten that right. Of course, I’m also a fan of notable criminals, which is how I remembered George Metesky.
