Don’t worry Frank, I’m sure that there are plenty of bloggers who’d agree that video games don’t belong in the Olympics. Hell if we can’t get auto racing in there I see no reason why video games belong.
well, given that most of the initial olympic events had military aspects (throwing projectiles, running, and wrestling), and now we have drone warfare, computer games in the military isn’t such a crazy idea.
The original olympic games consisted of sports that concentrated on skills that were considered necessary for warfare. Since modern warfare includes skills that resembled those used in some computer games, it makes a sort of twisted sense that some people would want computer games to be events at the olympics. But that would be so wrong.

We already have big conventions for E-sports. Yeah,no need to put them in the Olympics.
