All actions have outcomes. Nothing says any of them have to make sense. Just remember, Jussie did this to get a raise for his work as an actor. If you believed the original assault report, then he’s shown he’s worth the extra money.
…I fully admit when I first heard of it, I thought it was over the top, but I didn’t express that opinion – I don’t like doubting ‘victims’ because stranger things have happened (that poor woman in California who was kidnapped and the police didn’t believe her.) I figured I would wait for the investigation…sure enough, it all fell apart…for those who think it was believable, maybe you think it was because he’s a great actor – but I sure wouldn’t hire him as a screenwriter……anyway, I do think he got off lightly, especially since his lawyer is proclaiming him “innocent!” Now, every person who goes through some sort of attack based on hatred (racial, religious, sexuality- or gender-based) is going to face even more ugly social commentary than normal if they try to obtain justice. What a selfish idiot. I hope his mother (“I would not be my mother’s son if I was capable of one drop of what I was accused of”) hammers him in private…

Dreams have an internal logic that holds them together. That is how you can tell you are awake.

It’s that last panel that does it for me. Mentioning the prez and tossing the phone had me on the floor.
