Unless you grind it the night before and have it in the coffee pot so you can simply push start in the morning. The sound of the grinder might wake everyone else in the house (along with the neighbors). I’ll stick with my tea.
Grinders won’t work without the cap screwed on tight. The unmoving blades aren’t sharp enough to do any damage when you are grubbing around to remove the last of the coffee grounds.

On the plus side, those rotating blades also make you focus fast, when they physically implant the caffeine in your muscle and sinews.

Try a hand-cranked grinder – you get a little exercise with your coffee.
