We always tell Pepper and Jelly where we’re going, especially if we’re going to Perth for anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. And we have video calls with my in-laws and the pets :)

I am dreading September/October when we’ll be gone at least 3 weeks for my right knee replacement :/

It’s OK to let your pets know what you’re doing as long as you do it ironically.

How come the dog gets to go??

I forget. Could someone remind me what Bob is supposed to be. I know it’s not duck.

I always tell my two pups that I’m leaving and won’t be gone long. I guess upon reflection that’s kind of silly. Although i think the soothing tone of my voice calms them until my return, lol!

Why does Wally get to go and Kitty has to stay home?

I always tell the cat when I’ll be home. He appreciates it.

Science has so far been unable to tell us how self-aware dogs are, but if you have one you know they are.
