Has anyone watched the anime “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime?” The lizard princess reminds me of Kirby. Also, it’s pretty good.

Chic’s safe – that’s the good news. Now Chic gives them the bad.

Bet you’re sorry you made it out alive now, Chic.

It’s good for Chic to have two parent figures who genuinely care for him. Even if he’s not feeling the love right now with the threat of punishment looming.

Now Chic gets to share what he found out at the beach. Let the planning for action commence!

Chic: “Mister Wally, before you kill me, we’ve got Topsiders.”

Wally: “I’ll pack, you hold the door open.”

Chic is safely returned home, all thanks to McGruff the crime dog!

Oh Wally – if you hear the “good news” from Chic – and the further reaction of the council to that, you will regret it too.

I hope they give Chic a chance to explain. All he really needs to stop any further action, I think, is to say just one word – Topsiders. Anything else could result in him not having a chance to explain.

Chic needs to tell everything they found out. Wally’s adventurous nature will make him want to investigate.

It’s nice to see that Ward and June have the Beav back.

WHO is that bringing Chic home? Certainly not one of the miners who found the boys.

He is very lucky his adopted parents love him.

Love him so much that he is GROUNDED!

McGruff.. he’s tuff on bad eggs….

Yep… Now Chic is in REAL TROUBLE!!! On the bright side, he does have a nice room…

Kirby won’t let Wally do anything too terrible to Chic.

That special investigator looks very familiar.

I’m just surprised they weren’t out looking for him themselves..

It’s very likely that Chic has never recieved this much caring in his entire (relatively short) life. His mother cared about him (it kept him from the fate of other non-reptilian offspring) but she could not do anything openly. Chic could not live with her…but he did get to communicate with her through a hole in the wall-and watch his reptilian siblings living with his parents.

It’s the parental paradox. You are so grateful the kid is okay, while at the same time you want to kill him for making you worry about him.
