you’ll become quite a book critic, Peppermint Patty
Them as can’t write, read. Growing up I thought I would be a writer. Then I found out how un-easy it actually is.
My philosophy is simple: “Keep it simple.”
Interesting how a kid Franklin’s age actually is interested in a book about psychology!
Try Quantum Mechanics instead, Franklin…
I thought that was Philosophy books.
Wow Sparky! Bit of anger there. Oh wait, that’s pop psychology. You know, the kind your dad used to practice.
Nothing like a little advanced reading to fire up the old grey cells, eh Franklin?!
It was a few years after this comic, but still in the 1970s, that R.D. Rosen coined the term “psychobabble”. It’s still the best one word description of meaningless psychological jargon. Although I’m sure there is meaningful jargon as well.
“If one can…” seems out of character for PP. But I suppose otherwise it would sound like she was bagging on Franklin. Poor Sparky.
If an academic wrote it that is indubitably, indisputably, incontrovertibly, inescapably true.
If I recall correctly, it was a pretty big deal that Patty and Franklin went to school together.
It looks to thick for you Franklin
