I had a picture of a Hong Kong betting center where the rows were back to back, so close only one person at a time could stand up. I owned a call center and kept when staff occasionally complained that their 6’ wide work area was too small.
I’ve been wedged into a couple of offices much like that. Fortunately we all got along. In one case we had to walk sideways to get to our desks…except for the one person directly in front of the door!
A friend who works for a public works department at one point had to share a standard size cubicle with another person. Fortunately, the other person was out checking building sites for code violations for most of the day.

At least the cubicle walls are high enough to block out some of the noise and offer a little privacy.

Ed will have a hard time leaning back in the chair and sleeping. Good move, Rita.

After 37 years of cubicle living (not to mention 9 years in the Navy) I finally have my own office. It’s wonderful!

They still use cubicles? A good friend of mine worked in a post cubical office. A 24/7 operation so no privacy walls.
