I really like how you can incidentally track the changes in the internet by looking at Derf’s email address. Before the worldwide web was common, a CompuServe numeric address (I had one of those) used for limited communication between closed communities, then a text CompuServe address as things became more open. Now another ISP and the freedom of the web, presumably.
