Cured of what ?

He is supposed to be a reporter. So he should know where all the pork-bellies are.

What did I think of it? I never even knew it was sick!

Get it? Cured. Health care. Oh, to laugh.

Is regular uncured ham from a sick pig?

If it was sick, why did you give it to ME?

Being safely retired, I almost never wear a necktie; but several years ago I adopted the “identical socks” concept: no sorting; get up in the morning and grab any two socks and go on my way.

Our healthcare system(s) are in great disarray. As somebody who has had a lifetime of health issues, and therefore experience with providers and insurance companies alike, an added layer of government paid and questionablly qualified gate-keepers (whose primary function will be to deny care, in the name of cost-controls), where might there POSSIBLLY be ANY problems? Too bad it’s in a third world sh!thole country and not a civilized place with single payer/national health.
