Point. The mandate was preserved by Roberts through the strange notion of it being both a tax and a penalty.
Point. The mandate has been removed by legislative action.
Point. Lacking the mandate the rest of PPACA loses the protection of the SCOTUS decision.
But set aside the legal fight for a moment.
If PPACA falls it forces Congress to create a replacement. With split control they will have to create a COMPROMISE solution that both parties (and hopefully America) can live with.
I realize it is difficult to get there from here, but if both parties will stop posturing they could likely come to an acceptable resolution. Blow off the hot heads on both sides of the aisle and create a bipartisan answer.
America will not accept Medicare for all. America will not accept a return to the pure private market approach. There MUST be a place in the middle that will work.
You do realize this was always a REPUBLICAN plan, no? So blaming everything wrong with it on the Democratic Party is simply hilarious for those of us who know better.

There is no Trump Care so an ambulance wouldn’t be appropriate. I picture dynamite piled about around the hospital and him pressing the plunger.
