It would figure. Easier to brainwash and get control over kids instead of adults. Boot out Wally and Kirbee as bad parents then keep Chic for. Grooming

It seems certain to me that tonight begins a new chapter in the story of Endtown.

I definitely think Wally and Kirbee need to make rapid exit plans from Eden Colony.

It’s a good thing Alan was willing to let Wally know at least a little bit of what to expect at the hearing.

“Is now a good time to mention the invisible Topsiders hiding in the shore surf? No? Okay, I guess I’ll wait for a Friday cliffhanger then.”

^ I was thinking the same thing. Hello! Severe security risk at your doorstep! Does nobody care? Have none of the kids mentioned it to anyone??

Wonderful… So not only is he on the verge of being “unemployable”, but they get to add “unfit to raise a child” to their list.

Wally, do not wait for the hearing (and do not pass go and do not collect $200.00 either). Take Chic and his mother and get.out.now!!!!

I hesitate to say this, seeing as how there’s an actual elephant in the room, but why is Wally, etc. avoiding the REAL elephant in the room?

Here’s the plan, Wally. The hearing is tomorrow? You and yours leave town tonight.

Wally: “What does that mean, exactly?”

Alan: “Well, you know that expression, ‘enough room to swing a dead cat’?”

what’s the difference between taking the kid from their parents, from takings a parent away from their kid? and what about the other kids? will their parents need to go to a hearing?

Oh geezus. Still… That arrangement. They can’t have an unlimited supply for brains… Still we don’t know how his brother died

Did something unfortunate happen to Duffy’s parents? I got the impression that he might be on his own since his comment about never retreating from anything. Could Duffy’s parents have been removed from Duffy after he and his gang got caught wandering off during the evening a few times?

What I think is odd from a story telling POV is that there hasn’t been any discussion between Chic, Wally and Kirbee about the topsider.

There’s something going on with that, the Eden leaders know about the topsider and convinced Chic to keep quiet about it. I think, maybe.

There’s no other reason it hasn’t been a discussion point. I think, maybe. :)
