Scuffy is just saying his prayers. He is jealous because his cape is only one color, compared to Albert’s pants! The colorists are working overtime lately.

I think Herbert’s expression comes more from his tight crotch than anticipation.

Scruffy wishes the Smithe-Worthingtons adopted him instead of Little Miss Millie High Maintenance.

Scruffy’s just worried because he had to tie his own knots and, well, you know how dogs are with knots.

The way that rope is running, I think Albert will jump off and end up dangling in the air about 6 feet out from the roof; just out of reach of anything. The Smithe-Worthington’s will come along walking Little Miss Millie High Maintenance and see him and Scuffy. They’ll turn up their noses, sniff, and walk on past. They’ll call 911 and ask the humane society to rescue Scuffy.

What I’d like to see is Scuffy climbing that ladder in the first place.
