The pup looks much cuter today. The Norwegian Anthound is a noble breed.

I find Alice to be a bit off putting today, but she is being true to her nature.

    Alice Otterloop Buckethead!

I think she just seems to not be a dog person. She’s maybe a pangolin person. But Alice, an anthound does much the same thing as a pangolin…maybe…I think…

Kind of looks like my dog. He’s not an Anthound, but he is a Bugg.

He may be trying to sniff your butt, Alice.

I don’t think Alice will have anything good to say when she reports back to the gang at school tomorrow.

Apparently Alice is immune to the inherent cuteness of puppyhood. Then again, she never did look into its eyes…

Alice will be back to see the puppy again. Pre-schoolers can be very stubborn about new things. It may take 2 or 3 visits before she falls for the puppy - particularly with the peer pressure of her classmates.

I don’t think there will be the addition of a puppy inside the Otterloop family home anytime during the next decade.

I still think that little pup is adorable! Of course, I think all dogs are adorable! No matter how ugly, but this one is cute, I really think so!

My mother had a schnauzer and a pug. The schnauzer always got excited to see other dogs (and squirrels), but the pug was more excited to meet other people. Toy dogs think they’re people.
