@margueritem: “Fortune duck”? Really? There’s a chain of leather goods shops in China with that name (in English). A friend got a purse with F DUCK spelled out in gold letters.

We call cootie catchers “fortune tellers”.

How is it a time out if they are all there together, allowed to talk and with no work to do?

Funny! Yes, you told fortunes using your duck. Some of the inside triangles were colored with crayons, and some had numbers on them. I think the fortunes had to be simple answers like the Magic Eight ball gives.

I hate it when everyone always says to me, “Oh, being an art teacher must be such a fun job!” LOL (I really do love it, but now I teach in high school…you probably wouldn’t want to expose sweet little Alice to high schoolers just yet…)

I think Miss Bliss needs a time out. I think she has a duck obsession. Yea, she’s ducked up. ;-)

I think that the “time out” is actually for Miss Bliss. They sit in the corner so that she can calm down enough to not cause some serious mental damage that will cause the kids to be in therapy for the rest of their lives.
