Carmen: We just got so involved in talking, we forgot all about it! Chazz: Do you want some of our leftover conversation? Carmen: It was the "chef's special." Poncho: That's the lame repartee that cost me my doggie bag?

I don’t know, my dogs always expected a doggie bag when we came back from dinner. They seemed to know we went out to eat and they expected their share when we got home.
We never disappointed them.

My dog is not Poncho, and for that I am eternally grateful. He loves everyone, expects nothing except at 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. for his food. Doesn’t even bark.

@ Puppybreath: It’s the same in our house! And, Quincy has taught our houseguest (my sister’s one-eyed Pug, Dozer, who’s staying with us til April) to expect something when we come home, as well!
