Ray Bradbury and George Orwell were both ahead of their times and definitely able to predict the course of the world. Sadly, when conversing with high school and college students, most have never heard of either author much less read any of their books. Sigh.
Orwell missed the mark. He had visiscreens on the livingroom wall tracking your every move. He didn’t foresee that everyone would have a visiscreen in their hand tracking your every move. I guess that would be too nightmare-ish.

Combine that with “Brave New World” by Aldous Huxley.

And now that we’re going back in time, we’ll get to live it all over again!

We are certainly being subjected to Newspeak; except it’s called Political Correct Speak. (Yeah I know, not a funny comment.)

Sadly some in power see it as guidebook rather than fiction.

Orwell was by about 35 years, but don’t tell Alexa, Siri, Facebook, and Twitter that.

Watch out Horace, to Sine, that looks a lot like the paper on the bottom of a birdcage…!

Shouldn’t Horace be reading Animal Farm?

Year 2001 encapsulated HAL in a black hole

The events in “1984” didn’t happen quite as quickly as Orwell projected, but they have come to pass.
