    Reminds me of a Murphy Brown episode where the paintings haven’t been hung yet, and the crowd is exclaiming what a statement the bare wall makes, and interpreting the meaning of the light switch. Wish I could remember more.

    Maybe it’s me, but I swear there’s something(s) under Frank’s drawing. For one, a hooded ghostly thing in the upper left. Kind of a Rorschach test? Do I fail?

    Actually, Frank is only half done, if that. Now he has to come up with why his painting reveals some secret about reality, which is why it’s worth $10,000. The second part is the hard part.

    I once saw a “painting” that was nothing more than a canvas covered in a coat of flat black house paint. It was hanging in the Art Institute of Chicago.
