CEO of a pharmaceutical co. made a statement on “60 Minutes”….his first allegiance is to the BOARD MEMBERS AND PATIENTS COME AFTER THAT! So there you have it….it’s greed and bottom line for THEIR PROFIT! These people couldn’t care less about human beings….KARMA
That’s the role of for-profit companies. Capitalism is great, to a point. But just as we have decided that human organs should not be bought & sold for profit, we should come to agree that healthcare should not be seen as a for-profit commodity.
