I can understand this. My one and only trip to DisneyWorld left great memories. It was a definite feeling of being in a completely different world and for a while you could forget the mundane work-a-day one you came from and were going back to. Hoping to go back one day.
I have never been to either Disney park, Universal or almost any other theme park. We did go to Hershey Park once, Busch Gardens Williamsburg a few times, Six Flags Dallas once (just me with other friends, not husband), and Great Adventure (NJ) before it was part of Six Flags.
Quite frankly they are terribly expensive places and have less and less for those who do not or cannot (per their rules) go on the big rides.
