Frank just remember the good times :-)

I have good memories of my paternal Grandparents. My maternal grandparents died young and I never knew them. It is sad to think many have no memory of Grandparents at all. Frank…cherish your memories and the time you get you spend with her.

I remember both of my grandmothers. My grandfathers died before I was born.

My sympathies Frank. I still remember my grandparent’s house. A fun place to be when I was young.

So very sorry Frank. I never knew my maternal grandparents and my paternal grandmother died when I was very young so I have limited memories of her. I hope you and your family talk often of your grandmother and keep her alive in your hearts.

I remember doing it for both of mine the hard part is boxing up their possessions and giving them away it marks an ending and a new beginning; you have my deepest sympathies. But remember the memories will last a life time.

I too only knew my paternal grandparents. Solid Kansas folks who moved to California and prospered.

I knew my maternal grandmother only thru annual vacations to Kansas for several years with my parents when I was young.Wonderful memories of her.

Sadly, my maternal grandfather died before I was old enough to realize he was my grandfather.

It is sad to lose a grandparent. Sorry about you losing your grandma. At least she really Is Not in pain.
