‘Splain that fog test.

I guess Donna knows her stones.

And it looks like a panther (pink) in the middle of it.

And real gold turns your finger green.

I think that her first ring was the fake and that is her basis of comparison.

Pierre’s brain doesn’t pass the fog test.

Apparently a real diamond won’t fog up when hot breath is blown gently on it. The condensation stays on a fake diamond.

“Now why is she carrying on about a rainbow heart?”

Beacuse, even if the ring doesn’t pass mineralogical muster, it still appeals to Donna’s inner 12-year-old girl. It’s a HEART! With RAINBOWS! The only way it could be better is if it summoned unicorns.
