“Sensitivity training” is one of the sillier things that companies and other large groups (universities) do to their staff… I’ve never heard of anybody going to one voluntarily. Though I suppose the ones who need it wouldn’t. There must be at least one Dilbert arc that deals with the idea (picture Alice as a trainer!)
Bottom line: It’s really just “get your head out of your fundament” training, and though I’m sure some folks can be trained, my experience is that most folks either already understand that everybody is equally human or they never really will.
