Reminds me of the Vastatosaurus Rex (“ravager lizard king”) of Skull Island. What if the T-Rex evolved into an even better hunter over the last 65 million years? And since Skull Island was a research area for a prehistoric super civilization they recreated so many animals and some plants. One of their experiments in accelerated controlled, by them, evolution. So they came up with the V-Rex.
