You don’t know how true that is.

The dental frat house (Omega Psi) that I lived in during med school (they were cheap and had lots of food) had a sticker on the bathroom mirror: “Only floss the teeth you want to keep!”

I was a religious flosser, with the morning brushing, after each meal and snack and at the bedtime brushing. Then I was put on Plavix and the very touching of the floss to the gums produces bleeding. So now I do not floss. However; dental floss and a sewing needle make an ideal emergency repair kit for loose buttons and small tears in clothing. The waxed version is weather resistant and has come in handy for raingear and tent flap repair. creative use of a sharpie can color blend the floss into most fabric.

You don’t have to floss all your teeth… Just the ones you want to keep.

You can always tell who doesn’t floss…from about ten feet away.
