Sparklers and an inflatable pool?

I love how this Sunday cartoon connected perfectly with yesterday’s.

(Cartoonists avoid mixing in Sunday strips in their storylines because not all newspapers carry both the weekday and the Sunday strips.)

This is why you always go over your lines one last time before the show!

I love the first panel.

I like Adam’s Pool Opening ritual; maybe that’s what we need at our house. We opened our pool yesterday; or attempted to do so. The pilot light didn’t click on for the propane to heat the water. Twelve hours later, the water was still cold tap water temp. UGH.

Great tradition – I love it! Now invite the neighbor’s Labrador over for the ceremonial first drink out of the pool.
