That must have been quite a beating. Lily, I dare say you went too far. The boys definitely cranked you up, though.

Alpha Cat Update

Well, the creation of the Empire of the Iron Paw continues apace.

After an exhausting Sunday outside AC spent overnight into Monday sleeping in bed with us. Not something he does often but if he’s had a lot of his self-imposed duties to attend to he will kick back once in a while.

Come Tuesday morning bright and early he’s up and ready to go.

Pat watched him as he left…

…the old tomcat joins him from the front porch…

…Caroline (one of our other cats) joins in…

…the little tomcat links up…

…two of the next door neighbor’s cats join in…

…so, AC’s leading a group of five cats (all following him) along the path to the river.

I do wonder what they get up to. I do know that I wouldn’t like to have all six of them after me at once if I were some kind of prey to them.

It’s interesting to watch an elder statesman of cats at work.

I am hoping they just passed out from fear and not being klonked on the head.

Eight Cats?

The boys must be catatonic.

Lily, dear, I know you were cranky and the boys trash-talked you, but putting them in the hospital seems a bit drastic. No, putting them in the morgue would have been drastic, this is just giving them their just desserts.

Isn’t that just like my sweet little Oliver, bringing a flower to his friends! :-)

I left comments to the comments of 14th and 17th of April 2019.

Yesterday I had a doctor’s appointment, he is very content with the healing. I’m supposed to still have patience. Good thing wants to have a while, as a saying goes with us (Rome wasn’t built in a day).
