Love the little tea bag tag hanging out of Beatrix’s pocket, and that sweet smile of satisfaction that she helped improve somebody’s day. I think that was a gasp of surprise, not fear.
One interesting cat/dog relationship is occurring in creepy North Wales. A woman there adopted a blind dog. The dog used to spend most of its time in its basket. Then a passing cat decided to take over the household. Since the cat now owned the dog, (as well as the house and the woman) the cat took on the duty of taking the dog for walks in the surrounding countryside. The dog now has a seeing-eye cat.
Hi Orbsters! On Sunday I came back from my vacation ! The cruise was great & we went to Disney World the day beforehand (my brother & 2 of my nieces surprised me there!!) Unfortunately a piece of the pavement in front of one of buildings where I was walking decided to wish me a Happy Birthday up close & personal. I fell down….Ka-BOOM! I bruised up my right leg :-( Walking around the cruise ship wasn’t very easy. It still hurts a lot . So if you could send some healing paw power. Thank you!
OT, over 300 cats rescued from Toronto apt. by Toronto Cat Rescue most in good health, many pregnant. It’s in the National Post, a Canadian paper. Sorry, don’t have a link found the story on Drudge.
Just wanted to give a quick update on Skywalker. I can’t say for sure if she’s doing better, since she won’t let us see her try to walk, but I can say she isn’t any worse. She’s eating well and taking her medicine (mainly because I cheat and put it in her can) and seems to be settling in alright. She has claimed a cabinet in the bathroom (where we have her quarantined for now) and spends most of her time napping on an old comforter stored there. If I look in on her when she doesn’t want me to, she pulls the comforter over her face to “hide” – so I know at least one front leg works lol. She’s still not completely out of the woods, yet, though.

To be fair, dogs totally are shape-shifters.

Beatrix the contortionist who manages to come up with tea while sitting on “he who must not be named’s” head upside down. Incredible!

Weird days are pretty much the norm around here, sweet pup. You have been officially welcomed (by Beatrix, kittern extraordinaire, of course)!

All we needed was the ‘zoom’ lines to see how fast she got up there. Perhaps the Boys will calm down now?

Wouldn’t The Unknown Dog probably drink builder’s tea? Shifting sheep is hard work.

So, she keeps teabags in her pocket . . . but where does she keep the spare cup(s) and hot water? (I know, I know, I’m overthinking!)
