There will be a five year co-pay if you get caught.

Here’s where having a gun under the counter would really pay off.

Now I begin to worry— about my fellow posters. Not knowing what a Glock is can lead to not having to worry about living long and prospering. Especially if you’re on the wrong end of the deal.

I got a Glock and a Taurus, and they look a lot alike.

    Say, is that knife registered?

You know this country has really had it when even the guns our criminals use aren’t made in America….

Bdaysuit: Is it just a chance similarity in design, or is the Taurus a Glock knock-off?

As soon as I was big enough to beat a man to death with my bare hands, I stopped carrying a gun.

Terrible. I remember 30 M1911A1 disassembled together on a table and 30 Marines grabbling whatever parts were closest. For some reason we couldn’t hit an oil drum at 20 yards. Can’t understand why they rattled.

I’ve never fired an accurized Colt .45, but the stock one is useless outside of 30 feet. May as well throw it at the target.

Glock’s cheap Eurotrash that lots of cops and municipalities buy and the co. just happen to make a round that tends to shatter on impact. The original knock on 9mms was that the round went in and out too cleanly and lacked a little in stopping power. This cheapy seems to make up for it.

Colt used to make a very good weapon, sandy. You might have merely gotten a dud.

I think the euros use 30 aughts in their military and police.

I read that the State of Utah wants to make the M1911 pistol their state gun to honor John Browning, the inventor and a Utah native. Gee - I think every state should have a “state gun”. (That was sarcastic).

I have a WWII issue Colt Remington Rand .45 and it shoots good. It is the most modern firearm I own and I own it only it because it is collectable. I love muzzleloaders and own quite a few, both shootables and antiques. I have built two long rifles,(not kits) and a flint pistol, and I shoot them at matches often.
