And that is why the Jets wound up with another garbage player for their garbage pick. They need to trade that big crybaby Sam Darnold and aggressively pursue a big name quarterback right now.
Back when Bill Bidwell first forced the St. Louis Cardinals on the good folks of Phoenix, there were more fans in Arizona rooting for the opposing team than for the Cardinals.
It is another sport, but the Portland Trail Blazzers didn’t take Michael Jordan because they already had Clyde Drexler. Drexler was a very good player that made it to the hall of fame. However, I’m not sure if they had the chance to do it over again they would still stay with Drexler. Sometimes if you feel the best person available is a difference maker you have to go with that person – even if that person plays the position of an already good player. I think this is the scenario the Cardinals have with this pick.

Just do what generations of Chicago Cubs fans have done, learn to love your losers.

The annual rite of poorly run pro sports franchises. Fortunately for those of us who are fans of well run sports franchises, they outnumber us.

I doubt much has changed.

Disgruntled Jets fan above; Darnold now has Le’veon Bell to throw to. I expect his efficiency will increase.

these QB’s who have speed and are elusive and are merely a slightly above average passer will be in the NFL….just not NFL.
All we need to do is look at Michael Vick and Robert Griffin—-they’re too fragile and when it’s only their arm as their only weapon,
it’s not enough.
but that’s just my opinion
