Amoris Laetitia (in English, The Joy of Love) is an exhortation by Pope Francis in which he writes…

“Marriage is a vocation, inasmuch as it is a response to a specific call to experience conjugal love as an imperfect sign of the love between Christ and the Church. Consequently, the decision to marry and to have a family ought to be the fruit of a process of vocational discernment.”

[A vocation can be understood in several ways. It is the sense of a calling by God to a particular way of living a holy life, whether it is priesthood or marriage or something else. It is also that to which one is called. The sense of vocation may be present early in childhood or it may develop slowly, but it is always to be embraced only after a time of discernment to assure oneself of commitment to the vocation itself.]

The couple in the lower left corner of panel three should add to the outrage. Being a preacher’s kid, I never found a problem in it.

Throughout the centuries the perception of God has changed many times – He still exists. The church has existed throughout the centuries and refuses to change – Will it continue to exist for much longer?…

I think I get it… the toys aren’t interested in the vowed life.
