Oh, are the boys going to look like idiots when they find out the map was upside-down. (Yeah, I know I’m being a broken record on the “upside-down map” bit.)
Marcus you may have to get a steroid shot if that leaf was poison ivy. just saying from experience. Even the doctor laughed -———— NOT FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!
1) When I was a Boy Scout, one of my troopmates relieved himself in the woods, and , lacking paper (he was not Prepared), grabbed the nearest leaves; need I say more?
2) When i was Scoutmaster, I gathered the lads around me and pointed it out so they’d know what to avoid. The most annoying (by far; always sure he knew more than any adult) kid in the troop says “I can’t get it; see?” and, before I could stop him grabbed a handful and rubbed it all over his face. Does it make me a bad person that I was so happy he was wrong?
Hot-hot-hot (as hot as you can stand) water flush over affected area until the relief quits, clean gently and dry and apply Ivarest, take Super B complex vitamins every 6-8 hours with lots of water. Repeat when itch returns until rash goes away.
My dad walked across a field or meadow of poison ivy when he was a young man. He thought he could get away with it because he was wearing overalls. Ended up in the hospital!

Two true stories about poison ivy:
1) When I was a Boy Scout, one of my troopmates relieved himself in the woods, and , lacking paper (he was not Prepared), grabbed the nearest leaves; need I say more?
2) When i was Scoutmaster, I gathered the lads around me and pointed it out so they’d know what to avoid.
