i’d say bears to…
Da Bears like to play dead, too, don’t they? Is there too much violence in comic strips?
Yeah, the thing about dragons is an urban legend. It doesn’t work with bears either, they eat dead meat too.
At lest dragons cook their food.
Guess ole Charlie wont have to ‘play’ dead now.
Mmm, roasted Charlie!
Are you sure the dragon isn’t the Wiz in disguise? Hey Fink, play dead.
Flying bears, do you mean?
Good bye, Charlie.
Actually the advice IS the same in both cases: run faster than the other guy!
Yum. BBQ adult back ribs!
Does the dragon need a key to peel back the armor. Used to work for SPAM!
Sometimes you get the dragon and sometimes the dragon gets you! The game of life!
I think I would like the crispy little toes the best.
Nice Vietnam reference, twypsi!
For those of you that are too young to remember, the Vietnam War used body count as a measure of success. The troops were told to go “count some meat”. This led to the bitter phrase “some days you count the meat; some days the meat counts you”.
Charlie won’t take their advice ever again!
Maybe, in light of this incident, the Fink will now invest in surface to air missiles for his troops. Or some antiaircraft guns, at the very least.
Dragons gotta eat too, ya know.
“Meddle not in the affairs of Dragons; for thou art crunchy and go well with ketchup.”
Sorry Charlie…
Dragons don’t want soldiers with good taste.. They want soldiers that taste “good”… (with apologies to Starkist)
Are those Chicago Bears? ;0)
You guys need to look at the last frame better, Charlie’s feet & lower body is still laying on the ground. It’s the dragon that disapeared.
Yah, but you can only see half of Charlie! Hmmm
Charred Charlie.
Flame cooked Chuck Roast.
We know what bears do in the woods. Do dragons do the same thing?
