I wonder what they talk about when they meet on the mound and why it takes the whole team. How many people can fit on a pitcher’s mound at once?

The coach don’t like me to catch up too often.

To quote Kimi Räikkönen, “Leave me alone, I know what I’m doing.”

“Did you notice the hot girl behind home plate? I’m gonna try to get her number.”

Catcher better be careful. This is no time to play hardball.

If I were Commissioner of baseball, I’d decree that all players must wear actual baseball pants that stop just below the knee (right after I banned inter-league play, the DH, domes, artificial turf, and play-offs).

I’d rather watch paint dry.
