My girls all three wore and still wear mismatched socks. Used to bug me for some reason. But realized it didn’t hurt me one way or another. Mind my business as they say.
I used to laundry for my step-daughter, hubby and three teenagers. All the socks went in one basket. Union rules prevented me from sorting them. So wanted to leave one of her thongs in the pile.

One year in high school us guys decided to wear mismatched sock on certain days.

Mismatched socks have been a fad for a couple of years for girls, at least at the high school where I teach.
