    She’s doing her job and him, he’s wasting her time and being paid big bucks for being useless. Survival of the most futile. (There’s apparently no such word as futilest.)

    I just re-read the “Peter Principle” a few months ago Night-Gaunt49, and I’m not so sure about your statement.

    The principle as stated by Dr. Peter is: ”In a hierarchy every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence.”

    That principle applies both to managers and their subordinates.
