Nice! Let’s celebrate with more pizza! Got a nice meat lovers, myself.

Unless they have some strange way of tallying, Garfield appears to be marking it the 15,001st pizza.

How did the pizzeria keep track themselves? Did they also have a wall of tally marks dedicated to the Arbuckle household?

Does it mean that the pizza was free?

And your stomach shows it Garfield.

If that tally board is correct it would be 14996. Take a close look at the last panel.

That’s a pizza a day for about 41 years. Sounds about right.

15,000 days is approximately 41 years for one pizza delivered every day. Garfield is 41.

From the tick marks on the wall it’s actually “and one”.

Garfield is 41 years and 24 days old tody. He will be 15,000 days old tomorrow.

Wow, that’s an awful lot of pizza. I’m impressed.

Why didn’t Jon just start a pizza store himself? He could sell off pizzas to customers for profit and still get to eat as many as he wants. Given how much money he spent on pizza plus delivery fees, he could have invested that money for a business opportunity in pizza. I’m an Economics B.A. major, so I should know.

I know how many pizzas we’ve ordered, zero (unless you want to count the Domin’s one that our company ordered for us all while visiting). My wife makes pizza that is ten times as good as anything you can buy.

Considering it’s Garfield, it’s 100% believable.

Wow – if we average the cost at $8 a pizza, that would be $120,000. A small price to keep Garfield happy?

If Garfield was using groupings of 5 then the 15 thousandth would have been a cross slash closing a group and not a single strike starting a new group.

If I am not mistaken that means that they have ordered on average 1 pizza every day for 41 years (pls tell me if I did math right I just did 15000/365)

By my calculations, that would be over $150,000 in pizza.
