Pokemon is a worldwide phenomenon that appeals to kids and adults alike. Detective Pikachu has been widely anticipated for Game Freak and Nintendo to try something new with live action pokemon. I think the 2nd angry birds movie would have been a better example for replacing Thanos time, with dumb children entertainment.
