So Wallace was going to be walking and pulling the wagon with Spud in it? That must be where the hitching a ride part came in.

They seem to be taking a circuitous route via the UK, to judge from the side of the road on which Mrs. Hawksley appears to be driving.

I imagine by now that most of the people in Snug Harbor have Wallace’s mother on speed dial.

Pumpernickel! works for me- ‘radishes’ wasn’t quite strong enough.

I don’t think spud wants to hitchhike to Bolivia.
