On Facebook Georgia posted this fantastic proof of Lupin’s powers of invisibility: he was lying on top of a white, fluffy blanket that purrfectly matched his fur colour and you had to do a double take to spot the cat! Ha!
This reminds me, I understand that the story of Millie & Tillie isn’t sized right for the strip, but, Ms. Dunn, have you ever considered releasing it as story book? For Hallowe’en?
Dear Mega Orb, I come here to ask for prayers and everything you can offer to a friend, she just recently lost her husband, and two days ago she sent her Cat ove the Rainbow Bridge. She is a dear soul and the two losses so soon together may bowl her over. I ask that we give her all the love we can to get her through this hard bump in the road, I don’t want her to give up on life. Thank you. she has a Facebook Page her name is Darlene McNulty, visit her page if you get a chance. Thank You again.
I saw a Twitter feed from Georgia Dunn, yesterday. The Man had returned from a business trip, to Japan and brought back presents. There is a very funny pic of Elvis in a Pikchu cap!
The newest addition to our family is Belle, a jet-black kitten with soft yellow eyes. When you go into the Bedroom and the lights are off, sometimes all you see are a pair of yellow eyes watching you.
Belle disappears completely in the dark and Giblet is not amused. Why, oh why did we bring home a mini-Black Panther to the house?
My oldest son is still in the hospital but thinks he will get out sometime today. I was supposed to have jury duty but this kinda takes precidence. I also have to take my oldest daughter to get paperwork at 9AM so she can go to the doctor at 9:15 am. I really hope they will give her the paperwork and not make her wait until 3:45 this afternoon. She can’t see the doctor without the paperwork. I really wish they would mail it to her.
Sorry, I’m late with birthday wishes to you SueEllen & Lizand Max, I didn’t go back to check the comments after I posted yesterday. Hope you all had fabulous, fun, and feline (ish) days!
Ember hides in the closet when la señora de limpieza comes for her monthly visit. Unfortunately, Alicia sometimes forgets to check to see if she’s in there before closing the closet door.
OT: This isn’t as important as many requests I have seen this last week but I have a request for good thoughts and prayers. My husband is trying for a lateral promotion to a better position. Any positive energy sent our way would be appreciated. His first part of the determination is today, he (we) should know by the end of the month. Thanks for your support.
OT: Nushi – This was in reply to kangtourcat yesterday, who was asking for an update. I wish I had different news, but here’s where we are for now:
I so appreciate all of the support. I’ve been emailing and calling like crazy to anyone I can think of. I’m going to post more about this soon, as I want everyone to know and tell their vets about the most recent research on FIP. In 2 years or so there should be a treatment available. That’s too late for me and Nushi (and many others….) but good news.
Unfortunately what my baby has is the most difficult to treat and the drug is currently only available from China. I’ve found a group of folks on face book that know about this and I’m trying to find out if any of them have had a cat with symtoms similar to Nushi’s and have successfully treated the FIP.
The ataxia is moving so fast. This morning was the 1st incontinence as she couldn’t get up to the litterbox fast enough and was very upset to find she had peed on herself while trying to get up. She can still slowly “walk”, but tumbles easily and getting up and started is the hard part. Other symptoms are minimal, she’s still eating, but the neurological impact is… well, you get the idea.
I’m up against a tough one as buying the drug this way could end up costing $10,000 or more. I’m unemployed, and already in debt, but I have house equity I could pull. Honestly, if I can get good evidence it would cure her I think I would do it, but my friend Don is against it. He’s worried for me. I get it. Sorry for all the sadness. I know we all wish it wasn’t so.
Thank you. Thank you all so much. I’ll post this on Monday as well so folks won’t have to look for it.
I just have to say how sad I am for BCN fans who must rely on B&W newspapers!
The PeepToad arc is one of Georgia’s most beautiful, both of the old comics & the new. Our South Bend Tribune only has color on Sundays. I went back today & caught up with all the glory. BREATHTAKING! Equal to the old Prince Valiant comics for her painstaking details!
When Sis comes to visit (first since I’ve been sick), I will make SURE she enjoys every panel to her heart’s content!

Hmmm – Mr. Angry Fussy Paws locked in the bedroom, gentle Puck wrapped around the Woman’s ankle and invisible Lupin. This does not bode well.

If the BCN crew had the services of a resident dog they would also enjoy a car-door-closed, steps-heard-on-walk visitor warning system.
