So, the baby really is named after Citizen Kane? I wouldn’t really have guessed, but I’m pretty sure that idea did come up in our discussion here back when he was born. I suppose it’s natural when his parents are a director/producer and an actor.
Gypsy seems to know something relevant to the B-B Eyes trial, but there is no hint yet as to what that might be.
Charles Foster Kane was his name and the film sunk Orson Well’s career for the rest of his life. He angered a Plutocrat titan. William Randolph Hearst.
Letting timeline issues go lest my brain explode, what can Gypsy know about the BB issue other than Trixie told her(hearsay, as has been pointed out)? Hope for her she hasn’t got in her mind to blackmail BB Eyes, she would be an utter fool to do that.
Thirty years ago, my brother-in-law angrily ordered me to go somewhere where I’d have to walk the streets and use public transportation after dark. I was unharmed, but I still wonder why he wanted me to put myself in harm’s way.
Well we know now that the clerk is Gypsy Gay (if she’s in hiding from BB Eyes, and, etc., why is she using that name?) I’m going to guess that “Gypsy” is some kind of nickname and not actual reference to her ethnicity, because she certainly doesn’t look like a stereotypical Romani, most anyone with some sort of Mediterranean heritage.
Well, the poem was good. BTW, Although Hearst may have intervened in Kane not getting a best pic award, he hardly ruined Welles’ career. He made and starred in a number of films, like The Third Man, The Magnificent Ambersons, the Stranger, Lady from Shanghai, Touch of Evil. Always good, always innovative.
Kane Flintheart, I believe, is not named after “Citizen Kane.” Vitamin was just making a little showbiz humor in calling Kane “Citizen Kane.” I think the name is primarily a reference to his mother’s name, Kandikane, modified for a boy. That’s my position.
Meanwhile, what if anything does Gypsy Gay know, and what if anything is she planning to do?

I often don’t follow the advice in the Crimestopper’s panel, but I know I probably should, even though I live in a relatively safe area.

It’s a great movie about a horrible person. Why would you name a baby after Charles Foster Kane?

I didn’t even follow Crimestoppers advice when crime was much higher and I lived in a less populated area.

Oh too sweet! Citizen Kane Flintheart! Still, old Flinters should have also given it ‘Richard’ in thanks to Joe

UGH!!!! Vitamin I don’t mind, but isn’t there a way we can arrange for that milksop Kandikane to fall face first into a woodchipper somewhere?
Taking Vitamin’s age into account, im surprised the little gold digger didn’t spit out a senior citizen

Took a cruise. She did not choose to sail alone with Warbucks
Bad surprise, as in her eyes the killjoy made for no yucks
Her money man had hatched a plan: an isolated sail
To mend the bond. Again grow fond. His plan destine to fail.
Once out at sea they’d disagree what constituted bliss
Loud laughs and wine and music fine, he cared for none of this
Returned alone. None would condone the silence he embraced
No cop report. No court retort. Suspected, not disgraced.
Here today, see girls at play. A gift shop with full shelves
Friends at ease. Easy to please. Relaxed among themselves
Whom do we see? ‘Tis the Gypsy. It seems she has gone straight
An easy life sans cause for strife. No rancor, grief or hate.
Headlines shout! B-B, the lout, shall soon be placed on trial
Gypsy sees and looks so pleased. Upon her face a smile
Who can say how this may play? Might Gypsy juggle fire?
To live outside the law one must be honest, not a liar.
