I can’t stop looking at the whites of their eyes, and pondering the significance of “Two Days Ago” (which I’m sure must mean in story time, not Saturday).
1. For some reason Olivia has specifically stated today was two days ago. So…. something most likely will critically occur in a two day period this week? The idea of this makes me curious, because the “two days ago” comment could have been used a plethora of times before in many of the arcs…. why would this one especially benefit?
2. Will Olivia’s “Peewee” character be similar to the prior Peewee…. or will perhaps Olivia be ironic and make Peewee anything but?
3. Whatever the case… Peewee must be a few rocks short of a full load if he can be bribed with a rock. :)
Okay, I don’t comment often and I’m very sorry for that but I must say that I love their expressions in the last two panels, especially Sluggo’s (which, I shamelessly admit, couldn’t help but think “Looking cool, Sluggo!”).
Are those two days like two real days o two “in strip” days? Because I get the feeling most of the events in this basketball storyline happened in the same day.

I hope that’s an ironic nickname, or her team is going to suffer.

Last time I saw him in a Bushmiller strip, they spelled it as Peewee. Oh, say it not so, Olivia!

Several questions for me today:

I’ve often been bribed with a cool rock. Or, a cold beer.
