I’ve been learning Korean recently. It’s a language with a writing system of its own, but I learn by writing it down transliterated into the Roman alphabet. “Hello” in Korean is “Annyong haseyo^,” but whenever I try to write it down my software autocorrect changes it to “Annoying”! (That’s the right word…)
Way back when Word first came out I got a nasty phone call from our Telco. Seems the program would auto correct and sent the owners last name as Dandelion. I was ROFL but the lady had no ha-ha, she was still in the typewriter generation.

It shouldn’t be called auto-correct since you should never text while driving. ;-)
