“candyland”?? wouldn’t “ants in the pants” be better for suffering?

I don’t think y’all got it. They’re not playing Candyland. They’re playing Snakes and Ladders (or the modern variant, Chutes and Ladders), a game designed to teach spiritual and moral values. When the player makes a “bad” choice, they slide down the serpent and have to start over. When they make a “good” choice they climb up toward Heaven. Never was one of my favorites.

^davidf42, while I agree with your assessment of Chutes and Ladders (never played it as a kid, myself), the box in this cartoon says “Candyland,” which is more in keeping with Gary’s style.

I assume Pinhead is a slasher type villain but I have never seen a movie with him. What movie(s) would that be?

Really, cdward? The Hellraiser movies–I recommend parts 1 and 2.

Woops! I read it too quick. It is Candyland they’re playing. But I think the joke would have been better if it had been Snakes and Ladders. Thanks for correcting me cdward.

I generally consider Monopoly to be torture that lasts waaaaaay too long.

Candyland? If we’re carrying the Clive Barker theme, Gary should be playing against the Candyman.
